I bought a Sony TV, called three years ago was (HD ready). Now I want to play to buy a Play Station 3 and movies on Blue Ray on my TV. Is the PlayStation 3-decoding for high-definition TV with my 1Y, Pb, Pr or connection to the S-video connector? What have I just bought the cable to connect the Play Station 3?

YPrPb, is a component, so maybe, unless restricted, the films so it will be forced to 480p. You need component cable package.
S-Video is set up to 480i, not HD at all.
